Romeo Miller is ready to show off his skills on the dance floor. Like father like son… Romeo’s father Music Mogul, Entrepreneur and Philanthropist, Percy Miller (Master P), Romeo has joined the cast of Dancing With the Stars. Both father and son are from humble beginnings and understand the importance of education. Romeo and Master P are making history by being the first father and son to appear on the show. Master P was one of the biggest celebrities to participate as a contestant during season two and Romeo, founder of College Boyys Clothing and No Limit Forever Record’s president is a contestant in season twelve.

Although Romeo plans to compete against his fellow celebs on the show, his ultimate goal is to use it as a platform to bring awareness to the epidemic of our high school dropout rate in America. Over one million students drop out every year. Three out of every 10 students in U.S. public schools still fail to finish high school with a diploma. Students from low-income families are 2.4 times more likely to become a “drop out” than children of middle-income families, and even 10.5 times likelier than children of high-income families. “This is a great opportunity for me to get the message out that we have to save our children, it is not okay that we have this happening in America. without an education, you choices are limited,” say Miller.

There are extreme social implications as the result of a child dropping out of school and dealing with the stresses and frustrations associated with their choices. Our nation’s prisons and death row inmates are made up of, by a disproportionate percentage, “dropouts” more than 1.2 million students lost from the graduation ceremonies every year, or about 7,000 students lost every day. 55 percent of Latino, 51 percent of African-American, and 50 percent of Native American students finish high school with a diploma. Many teens leave high school not because they can’t handle the school work, but because they lack a personal connection to the school and feel disengaged or need to support their family by working.

“Unfortunately, teens lose enormous earning potential by not getting a high school diploma. Dropouts earn $9,200 less per year than high school graduates and more than $1 million less over a lifetime than college graduates. Reducing the dropout rate not only makes sense for individual students, it also makes strong economic sense for the nation,” says Romeo. Cutting the dropout rate in half for just one high school class would result annually in $4.1 billion in additional earnings, 30,000 additional jobs, and $5.3 billion in economic growth. “We have to address this crisis or fall behind as a society these statistics are unacceptable.” continues Miller.

Romeo has sold over 10 million records as a multi-platinum music artist. He has been awarded an American Music Award and a Grammy. Romeo was named in 2010’s Top 5 Sexiest Men in the world. Romeo is not only a Hollywood superstar entertainer but he’s also majoring in Business and Film at the University of Southern California. As a freshman, he and his basketball team made USC history by winning their first PAC 10 Championship. Romeo understands the importance of education; therefore he remains a student at USC while he pursues his entertainment career and business. He’s also co-starring in the upcoming film Jumping the Broom with Angela Bassett. And through this whole process, he will continue his commitment to his foundation, Urban Born.

The 21-year old Romeo Miller will pair up with partner Chelsie Hightower. Although the young entertainer has no formal dance training he welcomes the challenge. DWTS is rounding out a cast that includes Wendy Williams, Chris Jericho, Kendra Wilkinson, Kirstie Alley, and Chelsea Kane.

Romeo Signs Three New Acts To No Limit Forever!!!

Following an announcement in January about the formation of No Limit Forever Records, Romeo revealed that he's signed a trio of new acts, including a female rapper named Miss Chee.

It's Chee's first solo deal, and she's currently in the studio working with Romeo on a joint mixtape, titled Bonnie & Clyde, as well as a mixtape called Queen of the Streets.

"You can't compare her to nobody, she's different, unique with a lot of talent," said Romeo of his new signee. "She's definitely the next female artist to take over the hip-hop game. She's street, sexy, classy with swagger."

In addition to Chee, No Limit Forever has also inked a deal with Kay-I, an artist/producer, hailing from England of Jamaican and Nigerian descent, as well as Atlanta rapper Oak Tree.

Kay-I traveled to the States to pursue his dream, and No Limit is part of where he sees his future.

"It is an honor to be amongst some of the top music moguls in the business like Master P and Romeo. Together we will change the game again," he said.

As for Oak Tree, the rapper just dropped a new single, titled "The Statement".

With the new signings, Romeo is confident that the new generation of No Limit will be major players in the industry for years to come.

"It doesn't matter who got now, we got next. I learned from the best... the streets is ours. I decided to sign these artists because they are the cream of the crop, reminds me of classic No Limit MCs Mia X, Mystical, and Mac. No Limit Forever... we play to win."

No Limit Forever's roster currently consists of Bengie, Gangsta, Black Don, Valentino, T-Bo, Suni Blac, G5-J, Lil D, Silkk the Shocker and Romeo himself.

Will Smith is not the only rapper with offspring making headway in the world of entertainment.

No longer lil’ Romeo Miller, who once starred in his own Nickelodeon series, will be returning to acting on NBC’s new super-hero drama The Cape.

According to Hip Hop Wired, Romeo will play “Lil-Z,” described as a wise cracking sidekick to Michael Irby’s character “Pokerface.”

Only a few weeks ago was it announced that his little sister, Cymphonique Miller, had signed on for her own Nick series, How to Rock Braces and Glasses.

I want Master P to adopt me.

The Cape will premiere this Monday at 9:00 PM on NBC.

Master P.'s daughter Cymphonique Miller will be the latest family member to be featured in a Nickelodeon sitcom, as the 14-year-old is set to star in the upcoming series "How to Rock Braces and Glasses."

The sitcom, which is based on a new book series from Alloy Entertainment, will star Cymphonique as Kacey, a girl who was popular until she has to get braces for her teeth and has to wear glasses.

When she becomes shunned by the mean, popular girls in school, Kacey turns to music as a release.

"How to Rock Braces and Glasses" is written by David Israel and Jim O'Doherty, who have written for shows like "Grounded For Live," "Tracy Morgan Show" and "3rd Rock From the Sun."

David Israel will also serve as executive producer of the Nickelodeon sitcom, along with Alloy's Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo.

This is the second major sitcom one of Master P's children has starred in. His son Romeo Miller starred in Nickelodeon's hit series Romeo!, which aired from 2003-2006.

Cymphonique has previously appeared on Nick series such as “Big Time Rush”, “The Troop”, "True Jackson VP" and "Just Jordan."

Romeo Miller Named National Spokesperson For Youth Health Campaign

Romeo Miller, son of Master P, has been named the national spokesperson for non-profit organization It's Time Kids, who is launching a program to encourage kids to stay fit and smart at the same time.

The actor/student-athlete will help the organization kick off the "It's Time to Fatten Our Brain's Not Our Bodies" tour across America.

"Making Romeo Miller our national spokesperson is the perfect fit. He's a superstar entertainer, college student and athlete who loves education and kids," said Lisa Stewart, national rep for It's Time Kids.

"He's also one of 2010's Top 5 Sexiest Man in the World. With all of this going on, Romeo takes time out of his busy schedule to exercise regularly and eat right, so that he can maintain his healthy and fit physique," Stewart added. "He's a great example of hard work pays off.' "

In support of First Lady Michelle Obama's fight against child obesity, Romeo -- along with his father Master P, his sister Cymphonique, and The College Boyys, among others -- have joined forces to launch a national school tour, as a part of It's Time Kids campaign, which will include a kid-friendly educational outreach program to address the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle.

It's Time Kids will kick off its school tour in Southern California on Friday, April 23rd at 61st Street Elementary School, located at 6020 South Figueroa Street, in Los Angeles.

"It is an honor and privilege for me to be the national spokesperson for It's Time Kids. This organization's purpose is to build a society that helps to motivate our young people to aspire for greatness, by being fit and healthy through education, entertainment and music," said Romeo. "The school tour is committed to educating the community on healthy eating and the benefits of physical activity to reduce obesity, especially childhood obesity".

"According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 67 percent of adults are overweight or obese and the epidemic is being spread to our younger generation," Romeo's father, P. Miller, explains. "In 2001, the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry estimated that between 16 and 33 percent of children and adolescents were obese. With the number of people who are overweight or obese increasing in America, educating the youth and our families on the importance of maintaining healthy eating habits and a physically active lifestyle is crucial in reducing those numbers. It's Time Kids is an Urban Born program to get inner-city youth on the right track mentally and physically. Their motto is "Fatten our brains and not our bodies." Their focus is the three E's: educate, eat right and exercise.

The tour has teamed up with Action for Healthy Kids, a leading non-profit organization and the largest volunteer network fighting childhood obesity. Also on board is the KBK Foundation, a non-profit that focus on inner city youth nutrition, health, academic, and entrepreneurship.
